Introducing the CBD Industry Association

The CBD Industry Association (CBDIATM) is a new program attracting cannabis professionals from all corners of the industry: extraction experts, entrepreneurs, medical professionals, and more. Industry players seek unification under the CBDIATM to promote progress. The association has also begun offering certification courses overseen by partnered physician, Adam Abodeely, (MD, MBA, FACS, FASCRS) to provide endorsed specialization and continuing education platforms for its members.

The benefits of membership—in addition to professional credibility—include marketing opportunities for businesses and numerous industry discounts exclusive to the association.

The association’s inaugural Advisory Board include industry leaders in medicine, research, law, extraction, manufacturing, compliance, and business.

Advisory Board Members:

  • Michael Brubeck, Centuria Foods
  • Thuy Vu, Hammer Enterprises
  • Len May, EndoCanna Health
  • Bevon Findley, CBD Reviews
  • Katie Lundgren Nauert, CBD Lion
  • Philip Northcutt, Sierra Gold Hemp
  • Catherine Sidman, Cannabis Educator
  • James Taylor, Integrated Pain Solutions
  • Ray Mirzabegian, CW California
  • George Hou, Ingenuity Beverages
  • Courtland Imel, Ceutical Laboratories

“The cannabis industry continues to be driven by the science which is rapidly evolving. The CBDIATM is going to add clarity to the confusion surrounding cannabinoids and their applications for health and wellness,” said Adam Abodeely, the association’s partner in curriculum creation. “The industry has desperately needed a standardized educational platform which correctly addresses the science of the endocannabinoid system and its interactions with all the compounds found within the cannabis plant. There is simply too much false information surrounding how CBD and other cannabinoids can benefit our health. The CBDIATM will set the standard in cannabinoid education and will serve as a hub for scientists, clinicians, and thought leaders.”

“The CBDIATM delivers essential resources so that those involved in the industry can share real-world knowledge and experiences,” said Celeste Miranda, founder of the CBDIATM. “This is crucial to enduring success and awareness.”

The CBDIATM has partnered with CBD ExpoTM to provide in-person, lecture and panel discussions from experts of various fields to supplement the CBDIATM curriculum. This provides members with a unique opportunity to connect and learn from experts and creates access to leading conferences and educational events. Certification courses start October at CBD Expo MOUNTAIN 2019.

There are currently 5 courses produced by the association which empower members to become experts in various aspects of the plant. Curriculum is written and led by the association’s Chief Medical Director,  Dr. Adam Abodeely, and facilitated by the association’s ED, Heidi Sewell.

The CBDIATM aims to safeguard the development of the industry and promote widespread acceptance. Anyone in the industry who is offering support, products, or services related to cannabinoids is encouraged to become a member. “I am very proud to be a part of the CBDIATM,” said Heidi Sewell, Executive Director. “It is really all about staying engaged, keeping us proactive, and helping shape the future of the cannabinoid industry.”

The true value of the association is the members; they are all CBD and cannabinoid professionals committed to advancing the quality of the product and education of the industry. Today, the CBDIATM has caught the eyes of manufacturers, cultivators, executives, retailers, and more.
