“We have spent the past few years following and studying the emergence of over 30 new legal U.S. cannabis markets and the unique approach and path to market each followed, and with dozens of nations around the world testing new market models to fit their own socio-economic needs, the presence, sequence and strength of these nine foundational pillars will influence the success or failure of emerging legal markets,” said New Frontier Data Founder & CEO Giadha Aguirre de Carcer. “We led the creation of the InterCannAlliance to foster discussions about best practices in the legalization and regulation of cannabis across the globe and help new markets ensure that they each have the knowledge and intelligence needed to follow a clear and responsible path to what they hope to achieve with cannabis legalization.”
The inaugural 2019 ICA Latin America Symposium is the first event of its kind anywhere in the world. This one-day, invitation-only symposium will bring together established leaders who have succeeded in mature cannabis markets and C-level executives and senior government officials from emerging markets across Latin America to share their story and expertise in an intimate and open setting.
New Frontier Data will release its new report, “The Latin American Regional Cannabis Report: 2019 Industry Outlook,” at the ICA Latin America Symposium. Symposium attendees will receive a full brief of this first-of-its-kind report before its full public release.
Aguirre de Carcer, Founder and CEO of New Frontier Data, will present on “The International Cannabis Marketplace – New Opportunities and Challenges in Latin America.” New Frontier Data’s cannabis industry analysis and projections cover over 80 countries around the world; its reports and earned media coverage reached almost 7 billion worldwide in 2018.
