Resin generally refers to the sticky, aromatic substance produced by cannabis plants, specifically the trichomes and their resin glands. It contains cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds. Extracted with solvents (unlike rosin) and uses dried material (its primary difference with live resin that uses alive or fresh frozen plants).
