April 3, 2019, Frederick, MD – A2LA is pleased to announce the accreditation of GoodCat Analytical, LLC to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for cannabis testing. GoodCat Analytical, LLC (GCA Laboratories) is based in Naples, FL, and is the first cannabis testing laboratory accredited by A2LA in the state.

Raymond Keller, the owner and President of GoodCat Analytical commented, “It truly attests to the dedication of our team. Their attention to detail and expertise is evident in the consistent high-quality results. We also need to acknowledge the tremendous guidance and support from the A2LA staff.  There is no doubt that they had a hand in making our lab the impressive operation it is today and know they will continue to do so moving forward.”

“A2LA is excited to expand our cannabis accreditation program into yet another state, promoting the value of independent third-party accreditation to support quality products in the industry,” noted A2LA General Manager, Adam Gouker.  “We congratulate GCA Laboratories in achieving this milestone for their organization and wish them all the best as they move forward with this new endeavor.”

Achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation by A2LA is the pinnacle in third-party laboratory accreditation, as it confirms that laboratories have management, quality, and technical systems in place to ensure accurate and reliable analyses, as well as proper administrative processes to ensure that all aspects related to the sample, the analysis, and the reporting are standardized, measured, and monitored.
